SAERTEX multiCom: A strong set-up for the future

A 20% increase in turnover year-on-year, an expanding product portfolio, the foundation of a new production site in China and the establishment of the SAERTEX multiCom H2O division (Potable Water unit) are just some of the factors that make a new strategic focus in SAERTEX multiCom's organisation and structure essential for ensuring the group's continued success on the international market.

In order to achieve these ambitious goals, SAERTEX multiCom has restructured its executive board. As of 1 May 2016, Frank Mersmann and his new colleague, Andreas Temmen, are now jointly in charge of the SAERTEX multiCom Group's business activities. A new face in the industry, Mr Temmen brings with him many years of experience in international sales production, which he gained working for one of the world's leading technology corporations in the drive and chassis technology sector. Andreas Temmen's skills will help SAERTEX multiCom to reach its growth targets and implement its new strategic focus on a global scale.

SAERTEX multiCom's International Sales team has also been boosted by the arrival of Hans Jürgen König, who joined the group at the start of this year. Mr König has spent the last few years in charge of the business unit responsible for market and project development at an international corporation. As the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) based in Abu Dhabi, Mr König will be responsible for the Asia-Pacific and Africa regions, and brings to SAERTEX multiCom further expertise for this market in the field of trenchless pipe rehabilitation. In China, Director of Sales Naijin Ji will continue to act as the first point of contact for this expanding market.

With the support of his Sales team and applications engineers, CSO Roland Hahn will continue to be responsible for the European and Russian markets.  Mr Hahn will also be joining the executive board at the Saerbeck site in his role as Chief Sales Officer.

CSO/Vice President Mark Hallett will be responsible for market development in North and South America. Mr Hallett will have expert support in this important role from Rodrigo Tomazi, who will be based at our production site in Brazil to act as an individual point of contact for our South-American clients.

There have also been additions to our Marketing business unit: for the past few months, Gabriele Droste has been helped in her work by Laura Tebbe. Ms Tebbe is primarily responsible for our trade fair and event management.

There have also been developments in our new division, SAERTEX multiCom H2O: together with Timo Münstermann, Tobias Beer will now be responsible for international project management and sales in the division.
