Together with the Spanish rehabilitation company Grupo Canalis, we rehabilitated a 2,200-meter drinking water pipeline in one of Spain’s most popular tourist regions using a trenchless method. Within just three weeks, 14 installation sections ranging from 32 to 196 meters were successfully renewed with the SAERTEX-LINER H2O.
The work took place directly beneath the main road and a well-known boulevard, which were hardly affected thanks to the trenchless technology. This allowed traffic to continue without interruption, while the drinking water supply for more than 110,000 residents and up to 300,000 tourists during the high season remained fully ensured.
